• Experience in catering or kitchen work
• Basic food hygiene knowledge
• Flexible, reliable, and team-oriented
• Willing to complete training (Food Hygiene, Health & Safety)

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our team at Maple Leaf House, a specialist nursing care home supporting adults with complex mental and physical health needs, including dementia. As a Bank Chef, you’ll play a key role in preparing, plating, and serving meals, ensuring high standards of nutrition, hygiene, and presentation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and cook meals, including special diets (e.g., purees, diabetic-friendly).
• Plate and serve food attractively and hygienically.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety in the kitchen.
• Monitor food storage, temperature logs, and deliveries.
• Assist with snacks and catering for events and themed nights.
