JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a skilled & experienced Bank Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will work alongside a full time KP and be on opposite sgifts to our Chef for holiday or sickness cover. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality food is presented to a high standard to our Residents. Responsibilities:
- Supervise all activities in the kitchen when on shift
- Assist the head chef to plan and execute menus based on seasonal ingredients and residents preferences
- Prepare and cook dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ability to meet all dietary needs and requirements
- Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency
- Mentor kitchen staff on safety procedures
- Manage inventory levels and inform Head Chef when supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
- Collaborate with management to ensure smooth operations and residents satisfaction whilst responding to requests in a timely manner
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and policies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef
- Culinary degree or certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
- Excellent leadership and team member skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to cover Holidays as required
Hours are 7am to 7pm
