WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and individual -oriented person who will support our Community team.
Main duties: :
-Provide personal care for the Clients in accordance with their individual person-centred plans or as directed by the Line Manager;
-Assist with general housekeeping e.g., laundry, cleaning, supporting clients with mealtimes etc.
-Support clients to travel to appointments and activities as required. There is an expectation that staff members drive clients in their own [staff member’s] cars during work hours, following the Vehicle Safety Policy.
-Report any problems, concerns, accidents, and incidents to your line manager
Full training will be given but we are recruiting people with experience of supporting people. A caring, proactive and positive attitude is essential.
Salary: £ 12.60 ph

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENT

· NVQ Level 2 in Care or a willingness to complete it
·Preferably previous experience to work with clients with learning disabilities or a caring attitude and an understanding of vulnerable adults (desirable)
· An understanding of Person-Centred Care & Support
· A team player, able to work effectively with others
· Able to work to high standards as a member of team, and be accountable for your actions
· Good communication skills
· To be empathetic and understanding of individuals and alert to their general welfare and needs
Pay: £12.60 per hour
