Job Description Bank Decontamination Technician Department: Theatre Sterilisation Services Unit (TSSU) Location: Mount Stuart Hospital, Torquay Hours: Flexible, zero hour contract The role: The safety of our patients and our people is paramount to us at Ramsay Health Care UK. It’s here that we sterilise all the instruments and equipment needed to deliver a wide variety of surgical procedures and treatments across the Mount Stuart Hospital. We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated individual who have already worked within the field of Decontamination of re-usable medical devices, or who have completed a recognised decontamination course (NVQ/TVQ/Technical Certificate) to join our Theatre Sterilisation Services Unit at Mount Stuart Hospital. What you will bring: Experience as a Decontamination Technician within a health care setting Sound written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required Good computer skills (MS Office package) Flexibility and adaptability Demonstrated customer service skills Where you will be based: Mount Stuart Hospital is one of Devon's leading private hospitals with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare treatments and services. The hospital opened in 1984 and has 26 bedrooms all with en suite facilities to ensure complete privacy. Responsibilities
