YOUR ROLE:
As a Domestic Cleaner / Kitchen Assistant, you’ll play a key part in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, families, and team. From keeping rooms and shared areas sparkling to helping prepare and serve tasty meals, you’ll be involved in the heart of our care home’s daily life. Your attention to detail and kind nature will help residents feel respected, comfortable, and well cared for—because for us, it’s not just about cleanliness or meals, it’s about home.
YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
· Clean resident bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas (lounges, dining rooms, hallways)
· Follow infection prevention and control procedures in line with care home policies
· Dispose of waste safely and in accordance with health regulations
· Restock cleaning supplies and inform management of low inventory
· Assisting with basic food prep tasks such as peeling, chopping, and portioning
· Prepare simple dishes as directed (e.g. salads, sandwiches)
· Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
