Bank Laundry/ Domestic assistant required for our care home in Largs.
Your hours will be as and when required, to cover for illness, holidays and when we are extra busy, and being flexible with your availability is a key attribute of this role. The role would be a great starting point for someone who is looking for experience in a Health and Social care environment, and could lead to a permanent post
Purpose of Role
To maintain a hygienic safe and pleasant environment for all residents, staff and visitors, and if working in laundry to ensure all laundry is cleaned and maintained to the highest standards

Responsibilities

• Carry out all cleaning duties in accordance with a strict cleaning schedule. Cleaning duties can be in any area of the Home.
• Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and hygiene.
• Ensure that all cleaning or laundry equipment is correctly and safely used and kept in a safe condition. Report any defect in this, furnishings, or textiles to the Home Manager/Deputy.
• Use only the products specifically selected for the purpose.
• PVG (Disclosure Scotland) essential, and you will need to have ID to complete this process
