Driver | Wrexham | Private Hospital | Flexible working hours | £12.76 per hour  Spire Yale Hospital, Wrexham has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Driver to join our Temporary Staffing on a bank/occasional basis. The Successful applicant will need to have a clean driving licence, be well mannered and have excellent customer service. Contract type: Bank/Zero hour Working hours: Flexible working hours - covering evenings and weekends, as well as day shifts, where required. As Driver you will work as a multi-skilled member of the Theatre/Service team providing high level, quality support to the hospital, working with the minimum of supervision, covering driver and theatre orderly duties. Duties and responsibilities * To clean, wash, refuel and organise ongoing maintenance of company vehicle used to transport equipment and evidence this * To complete a daily vehicle check to ensure the vehicle is road-worthy * To collect/deliver items needed by the hospital from/to other hospitals or facilities around the local area * To deliver occasional taxi service to patients and Spire executive staff.as directed by theatre Manager  * To support other hospital departments as necessary including Abergele Consulting Rooms * Collection and delivery  of instruments  on a pre-designated route/schedule  * Responsible for safe loading, unloading and checking of trays, instruments and sets * To work under the supervision of the theatre manager in the ordering of consumable stock from the Spire NDC ( National Distribution Centre) to manage effective stock levels Who we're looking for * Previous relevant experience in a similar environment * Full Driving Licence * Customer facing role * Basic computer literacy skills * Excellent verbal and written communication skills Benefits: * Bank colleagues are paid weekly * We offer competitive rates to our bank colleagues who work on a flexible basis, often to cover busy periods, sickness, or annual leave * Save an average of £50 per month with our free onsite car park * Access to Spire Healthcare pension * Free uniform * Free DBS * Full induction, including mandatory training updates * Opportunities for further training and progression into permanent posts * Knowledge, support and guidance through your recruitment journey from Spire’s specialist Resourcing Team We commit to our employees well-being through work life balance, on-going development, support and reward.
