Bank Engineer / Electrician | Spire Leicester | Oadby | 0 Hours | Ad-Hoc Shifts Spire Leicester Hospital is seeking an experienced Engineer / Electrician to join our Bank team. This flexible role supports the hospital during peak periods, annual leave, and staff absence, helping to maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Duties and responsibilities: * Deliver a comprehensive engineering and maintenance service across the hospital site * Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), testing, calibration, and fault finding * Diagnose and repair faults across plant, equipment, and building systems * Support installation works and ensure all systems operate safely and efficiently Key Areas of Responsibility: * Electrical and general building maintenance * Water systems * Ventilation systems * Decontamination equipment * Medical gas systems * General engineering duties The Role You will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a wide range of plant and equipment, ensuring compliance with HTM guidelines, PPM schedules, and manufacturer instructions at all times.
