Priory Hospital Mildmay Oaks is looking to recruit a Bank Healthcare Assistant to join the team Rehabilitation and recovery (R&R) 26 beds, male and female, 18+, Secure 14 beds, male, 18+ and a BTPs Adults and/or young people across our hospital
Set in a semi-rural location in Hook, Hampshire, Priory Hospital Mildmay Oaks supports the NHS by providing low secure services and level 2 rehabilitation services for both male and female patients. This includes a specialist learning disability and autism spectrum support.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a Bank Healthcare Assistant, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity, and treatment of patients

  • Involved in de-escalation and management of violence and aggression.
  • Contribute to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with all members of the multidisciplinary team.
  • Participate in regular ward meetings and attend other meetings as requested.
  • To assist in the maintenance of stock levels, including pharmaceutical products.
  • To assist in the maintenance of ward cleanliness and tidiness and adhere to infection control policy and procedures at all times.
