Priory Hospital Hazelwood House is looking to recruit a Bank Healthcare Assistant to join the team. we have a Secure 12 beds, male, 18-65 and a Bespoke therapeutic placements (BTPs) Males, 18-65.
Priory Hospital Hazelwood House, in Heath, Derbyshire, is a low secure unit for 12 males with mental health needs. We also support those who have a learning disability, complex care needs and/or are on the autism spectrum. This hospital provides WAIS and ADOS assessments for patients who may be waiting for an NHS diagnosis.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a Bank Healthcare Assistant, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients

• Contribute to a team approach to patient care in conjunction with all members of the multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in regular ward meetings and attend other meetings as requested.
• To assist in the maintenance of stock levels, including pharmaceutical products.
• To assist in the maintenance of ward cleanliness and tidiness and adhere to infection control policy and procedures at all times.
