Bank Operations Specialist – Entry Division: 06 – Retail Banking Job Type: Non-Exempt / Prime-Time (32–38 hours/week) Hourly Range: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour This position does not supervise other employees. Job Overview As a Bank Operations Specialist - Entry, you will provide outstanding service to customers and bank staff by telephone, assisting with deposit activity and guiding staff and customers on bank policies and procedures. Work Schedule: * Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM * Occasional Saturdays Essential Functions * Cross-trained in all duties within the Bank Operations department and fill in as needed. * Support the Operations and Technology Division, Retail Banking, and corporate goals. * Perform all duties in compliance with internal procedures and local, state, and federal guidelines. * Complete tasks timely and accurately as outlined in the Bank Operations manual. * Handle a predetermined number of secondary functions daily as assigned by the Bank Operations Manager. * Maintain a high level of job performance to achieve departmental goals.   Qualifications * High School Diploma required * Two years of banking or bank operations experience preferred * Strong customer service skills and ability to work effectively with staff and customers, in person and by phone * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently * Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general computer use * Flexible to work varied hours, including occasional evenings or weekends * Bilingual skills are a plus
