Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Bank Paediatric Nurse to join our team in Wakefield. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to client care and demonstrate excellent clinical skills as well as being dynamic and able to work on own their own initiative. Tracheostomy experience is a must. Paediatric nurses would be preferred as this particular role is with a young child with highly complex needs, however nurses with extensive experience would also be suitable.

Duties of the Bank Paediatric Nurse role include:

  • Supporting clients with waking night shifts and days where needed
  • Working in partnership with professionals
  • Maintaining and adhering to all CQC guidelines for a Safe, Effective, Caring, Response and Well-lead service.

Key skills for this Bank Paediatric Nurse :

  • Registered nurse with active PIN
  • Must have recent tracheostomy experience
  • Must be trained and competent in IM Injections
  • Leadership and motivational skills
  • Attention to detail.
  • Creativity
  • Negotiating skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to build corporate relationships
  • Strategic mindset
  • Ability to think outside of the box
  • Must be ok with dogs as client has a big dog

HAVE A BACKGROUND EXPERIENCE IN COMPLEX NURSING SKILLS I.E.

  • Tracheostomy care
  • Gastrostomy care
  • Complex epilepsy (further training will be giving)

EXPERIENCE:

  • Nursing: 1 year (preferred)
