Bank Part-Time Night Care Assistant
Good communication skills. A knowledge and understanding of the care profession
NVQ 2 or NVQ 3 in Health & Social Care is desirable and experience with Dementia
Administering personal care to elderly individuals, assisting with mobility, washing and dressing, administration of medication. Helping individuals at meal times. Organising activities to occupy individuals.
Promoting good personal hygiene, maintaining a well balanced nutritional dietary intake, maintaining the safety of colleagues and the individuals.
Record keeping computerised - good documentation and reporting skills advantageous
Training available for - moving and handling, first aid, fire training, safeguarding, medication administration, COSHH, PPE, Infection Prevention, etc
Minimum wage depending on age of applicant - weekends £1 an hour enhancement
Nights £1 an hour enhancement Monday to Friday and £2 an hour weekends
Driver is an advantage as we are not on a bus route
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21-£14.51 per hour
