Bank Physiotherapy Assistant - West Midlands Hospital
Weekdays and Weekends - Inpatients and Outpatients
The role
An opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at West Midlands Hospital in Halesowen. The post will require you to work on the ward and in the outpatient department during the week. You will be required to work on the ward one weekend a month with the Physiotherapist.
If you are interested in joining our team, you must have previous experience on working on a ward or in a healthcare setting. Experience working with joint replacement patients would be desirable. The Physiotherapy team run pre-assessment classes, post op classes, hydrotherapy and pilates for our patients which you will be expected to assist with.
Where you will be based
West Midlands Hospital is one of West Midland’s leading private hospitals, part of Ramsay Health Care UK, one of the leading independent healthcare providers in England.
The Hospital has a 30 bedded mixed inpatient case load which includes orthopaedics, gynae and general surgery. The Physiotherapy department was refurbished 18 months ago and we now have a large gymnasium to run classes, 4 treatment cubicles and a team office.
