JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Bank Reconciliation Specialist will be responsible for managing and reconciling bank transactions across multiple accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UAE financial regulations. Candidates must have prior work experience within the UAE finance or accounting sector.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2–4 years of bank reconciliation experience, including a minimum of 1 year in the UAE
• Strong understanding of UAE banking systems and financial practices
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or ERP systems)
• Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Record and track all bank-related transactions accurately
• Coordinate with internal departments and external banking partners
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and other relevant financial laws
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare reconciliation reports and assist with audits as required
