JOIN THE NELSON TRUST AS A BANK SUPPORT WORKER!

We are running a small residential safe space accommodation unit for women who have experienced domestic abuse and have complex needs such as substance misuse, mental health issues, and involvement with the criminal justice system. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate professional to lead this project, ensuring the safety and support of our residents.

Your Role: As a Bank Support Worker, you will:

  • Ensure the project is covered during your working hours, maintaining the safety of women residents and the building.
  • Offer support to clients as necessary when on shift.
  • Work closely with each resident from the beginning of their stay to their eventual positive move on to settled and long-term accommodation.

DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE WORK CARRIED OUT IN OUR WOMEN’S CENTRES THIS ROLE IS RESTRICTED TO FEMALE APPLICANTS ONLY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE OCCUPATIONAL REQUIREMENT (EQUALITY ACT 2010, PURSUANT TO SCHEDULE 9, PART 1).
