Description

ABOUT YOU

Are you someone who genuinely enjoys making a difference in others’ lives? Do you have a calm, caring, and resilient nature that helps you thrive in challenging situations? If so, we want to hear from you!
We’re looking for individuals to join our team who can stay calm under pressure, who are enthusiastic and take a proactive approach, and handle behaviours that others might find challenging or distressing. If this is you, you could be exactly who we’re looking for.

WHO YOU WILL BE SUPPORTING?

“Hi, I’m supported by SeeAbility in my own home. I’m looking for calm, patient, and non-judgemental people to join my team. I love spending time at home with my guinea pigs, my boys are my world. However, I also like to go out, have a coffee and some cake or even walking around the garden centre. Maybe we could go swimming and eventually introduce me to new things. So, if you like me, love animals, and being out and about in the community, you could be just what I am looking for!
I have a moderate learning disability and epilepsy so knowledge of this will assist my support. While my behaviour can sometimes be particularly challenging, verbally and physically, I’m looking for someone who is confident, but calm, who is non-judgemental and caring. Ultimately someone who can support me live a fulfilling life. If you’re resilient, dependable, compassionate and enjoy helping others, I’d love to meet you!”
