We are currently seeking a Temporary Bank Teller / Summer Intern to join us at our suburban locations in Glenview and Wheeling. This position is available for an immediate start and will continue through August or September. As a Teller, you will serve as the “front line” representative of the bank, helping to create a welcoming and trustworthy experience for our customers. In this role, you will handle a variety of financial transactions, including receiving and disbursing funds, while maintaining accurate records of cash and payments. Essential Responsibilities and Duties Receives checks and cash for deposit, verifies amount, and carefully examines check for proper endorsement. Cashes checks and pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances. Enters customer transactions into the computer to record transactions and issues receipts. Explains, promotes, or refers products or services such as traveler’s checks, savings bonds, money orders, and cashier checks. Assist with Safe Deposit duties when necessary. Requirements High school diploma or currently enrolled in a college/university program (business, finance, or related field preferred) Availability to work through the summer (April/May–August/September) Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Basic math and cash-handling accuracy Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, data entry, etc.) EOE AA - Devon Bank is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
