JOB DESCRIPTION
Bank TSSU Driver - Ramsay Sterile Services Hub East Midlands - Kettering
WEEKEND DRIVERS – BANK
We are now inviting applications for the post of Bank TSSU Driver based in Kettering, Northamptonshire at our Ramsay Sterile Services hub.
During April 2023 we opened a new Decontamination Hub in Kettering. We are currently looking for experience TSSU Drivers to join our busy team and be part of this exciting new development. The new purpose built State of the art unit provides an efficient Decontamination service to 9 Ramsay Hospital sites and will be operational 24/7 across 7 days a week. We are currently looking for a committed individual to join our Bank and work throughout the week and weekends. You will be required to have flexibility over 7 days a week.
We are seeking a competent individual who is looking for flexible working and open to available shifts dependent on the need in the hub. Please be aware on a Bank contract we are unable to confirm contracted shift patterns therefore this is a great opportunity for current Bank workers or someone looking for additional hours in their current role. The primary driving role will include the collection and delivery of medical instruments from/to our local Ramsay hospitals plus other various site related duties will be required. You will require a full driving license for this role.
WHAT IS A BANK CONTRACT:
A Bank contract at Ramsay Health Care UK is a flexible employment agreement where you are not committed to a set number of hours per week. Instead, you work on an ad-hoc basis, filling in shifts that we have available in our hospitals. A Bank contract is ideal for individuals seeking flexibility, as it allows you to choose shifts that fit your availability, leaving you with a greater work-life balance. Bank contracts are also a fantastic way to secure additional income alongside other contracted work. Our Bank staff play a crucial role in maintaining service levels during peak times or staff shortages, ensuring that patient care remains uninterrupted.
