Description

We are looking for a skilled Banking Analyst to join our team in Kerrville, Texas. In this role, you will play a key part in analyzing financial data, preparing detailed reports, and supporting strategic planning efforts. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical abilities and a comprehensive understanding of banking operations and financial practices.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed financial analyses to assess lending, investment, and credit trends.
  • Prepare and deliver financial reports, forecasts, and presentations for leadership and regulatory bodies.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
  • Evaluate financial health by analyzing income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow for borrowers and business clients.
  • Perform risk assessments to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with departments such as commercial lending, compliance, and treasury to provide actionable insights.
  • Support market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and growth opportunities.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations, assisting with audits and reviews as required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in banking, financial analysis, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial modeling and data visualization tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills to present complex financial data clearly.
  • Knowledge of banking operations, lending practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Windows 10, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Experience handling service desk tickets and working with Windows.
