The Banking Payments team is dedicated to meeting a broad range of payments needs for tens of millions of Chase Consumer and Small Business clients. Our mission is to enable the most secure and seamless payment experiences for our customers, including capabilities such as Zelle, Wires, Cross-border Payments, Transfers, Bill Pay, QuickDeposit and Real-time Payments. As a Senior Associate on the banking payments team in merchant services you will cover Zelle, Transfers and Quick Deposit. You will drive strategic direction and operational alignment across the team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of payments at Chase, driving innovation, and maximizing organizational effectiveness. Job responsibilities Partner with product and business executives to develop and execute strategic plans that drive growth and innovation for Banking Payments. (Strategic Leadership) Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to inform strategy and maintain competitive advantage. Conduct deep industry and competitive analysis of features and trends, and frame suggested changes to shape the future of products. (Industry & Competitive Awareness) Leverage business intelligence and analytics to inform senior leadership, guide key business decisions, and identify new opportunities. (Data-Driven Decision Making) Develop compelling executive communications and reporting to articulate the Banking Payments story, gain buy-in, and create advocacy for our products and initiatives. (Executive Communication) Build and maintain strong relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders; foster collaboration and partnership to advance organizational strategy. (Cross-functional Stakeholder Engagement) Lead quarterly and annual roadmap planning across the Banking Payments portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives. (Roadmap Planning) Design, implement, and own operational rhythms, engagement models, and scalable processes to streamline operations and support organizational growth. (Operational Excellence) Drive the adoption of best practices and champion a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. (Continuous improvement) Lead ad-hoc and high-impact projects critical to the success of Banking Payments, delivering results beyond existing roles and responsibilities.
