Description
As a Banking Specialist, you’ll support customers through meaningful, solution‑focused conversations across phone, email and digital channels. The role has a strong lending focus, where you will assess, approve and progress personal lending applications while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You’ll: • Assess personal lending products (Credit Cards, Personal Loans, Overdrafts) and progress into Home Lending • Have quality lending conversations and make responsible credit decisions • Support customers with KiwiSaver and insurance alongside lending solutions • Build trusted relationships and identify additional solutions to support customers’ financial goals • Develop strong credit, financial analysis and decision‑making capabilities What we’re looking for We value attitude, capability and a growth mindset. You may bring: • Contact centre and/or financial services experience (preferred, not essential) • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills • Confidence working with digital platforms • A genuine passion for helping customers succeed • Willingness to learn and grow a long‑term career in banking Hours of work Your ordinary hours will be between 8:00am – 7:00pm (Monday to Friday) and 8:00am – 4:00pm (Saturday), operating on a rotational roster.
