Job Description Banking Operations is a strategic Avaloq service line providing Banking Operations outsourcing services to banks. We are organized as a global Business Area, running state-of-the art Backoffice services with industry leading automation, quality, and risk standards. We are experts in providing a true value add to our clients and thus, always look to add creative and client-oriented personalities with drive and passion to our team. You are applying to the OTC Derivatives Team, within the division of Banking Operations. The team is responsible for the processing and life-cycle management of in-scope products within agreed SLAs and procedures. This includes orders validation, matching of confirmations, cash and position reconciliation with relevant investigations to close open breaks, listed option transfers and collaboration with the other Banking Operations team to increase efficiency. Your key tasks Timely and accurate processing of OTC Equity and FX derivative products (Accumulators, Decumulators, Swaps, Dual Currency Investment, Structured Investment, FX related products) as well as Interest Rate Swaps, Listed Options and Futures Prompt follow-up with relevant parties to resolve any trade exceptions/discrepancies Investigating and resolving all outstanding break items (cash and position reconciliations) Ensuring that operational delivery covering Derivatives activities is managed within SLAs and KPIs to prevent losses/breaches and mitigate risks Escalating any operational risks to Manager for mitigation/solutions Supporting Manager in various tasks including process efficiency/improvement and ensuring that information is duly updated in Key Operating Procedure (KOP) Performing User Acceptance Testing as and when required Qualifications Relevant experience in back-office order processing Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Proactivity combined with positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Problem solving and time management skills High attention to details, flexibility, and willingness to learn Good communicator with ability to build robust relationships with peers and other stakeholders Excellent knowledge of English and Italian It would be a real bonus if you have Good knowledge of Avaloq system Solid technical know-how in the Derivatives areas Knowledge of French and German are a plus Additional Information We realize that managing work life balance is a challenge we all face in our daily lives and in order to support with this we are pleased to offer hybrid and flexible working for most of our Avaloqers to maintain work life balance and still continue our fantastic Avaloq culture in our global offices.
