Your Role and Impact As a Banking Support Specialist, you’ll play a vital role in delivering outstanding service to our customers and ensuring smooth banking operations. Key responsibilities include: • Serve as the primary contact for all incoming phone calls and address all requests timely and professionally. • Maintain comprehensive, prompt, and efficient customer service transactions with a high degree of accuracy. • Demonstrates a proficient understanding and knowledge of the bank’s products and services to be able to assist customers with account queries, answers customer questions and investigate and correct errors. • Monitor returned mail by utilizing Digital Banking messages or letters to update customer addresses. • Print and mail nightly notices. • Monitor and send letters as appropriate for overdrawn accounts. • Balance accounts to product reports. • Monitor the New Accounts Report for user code discrepancies. • Verify closure of accounts to ensure they have a zero balance and debit card(s) deactivated. • Validate the scanning and processing of Debit card orders. • Support and assist data processing changes as it relates to the core system. • Assists in special projects. • Provides coverage for other departments at various locations when needed.
