Description The Banquets and Club Events Supervisor plays a key role in delivering exceptional private and club event experiences, supporting overall Member Experience initiatives and operational goals. This position is responsible for creating seamless, high-quality events that reflect the club’s standards—centered around warm welcomes, memorable moments, and lasting impressions before, during, and after each visit. Requirements Key Responsibilities Execute a wide range of private banquets and club events at NYCC Collaborate with department heads and staff to ensure consistent, high-level service execution Lead, train, and motivate team members to foster an engaging and service-driven environment Support the Clubhouse Manager in overseeing private functions and club events programming May assist in managing daily food and beverage operations, including member dining, bar service, and events from time to time. Oversee event logistics including setup, breakdown, staffing, and service quality Work closely with the F&B team to ensure events are well-organized and exceed expectations Build and maintain strong relationships with members, guests, and team members to enhance overall club experience Physical Requirements / Work Environment Ability to remain on your feet and move throughout the clubhouse during shifts Occasionally assist with lifting or moving items related to event setup (generally up to 25 pounds) Comfortable with light physical activity such as bending, reaching, and arranging event spaces Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with varying activity levels Flexibility to support evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules Willingness to work in both indoor and outdoor settings as needed Ability to use standard service tools and technology to support daily operations Clear communication skills to effectively interact with members, guests, and team members
