THE ROLE Chetola Resort is seeking skilled and guest-focused Banquet & Events Bartenders to join our dynamic Event Staff team. As a Banquet Bartender, you will play an important role in delivering memorable guest experiences during weddings, corporate events, and special celebrations. You will be responsible for setting up, serving, and breaking down banquet bars while crafting cocktails and beverages with professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail. WHAT YOU’LL DO Event Execution, Beverage Service & Guest Experience Set up and break down banquet bars, ensuring proper placement, organization, and readiness before events begin Ensure bars are fully stocked with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and bar tools Prepare cocktails and beverages according to established recipes and portion standards Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, professional beverage service throughout the event Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and resort policies Monitor guest consumption and practice responsible alcohol service at all times Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing bar area throughout service Process transactions accurately when applicable using POS systems or event procedures Collaborate with banquet servers, event managers, and culinary teams to ensure smooth event flow Requirements ATTENTION TO DETAIL IN ACTION At Chetola, exceptional events are built on thoughtful details. Bar setup precision: Liquor, glassware, garnishes, and bar tools organized neatly and aligned with event specifications Recipe consistency: Cocktails prepared accurately with proper measurements, ingredients, and presentation Professional presentation: Clean bar surfaces, polished glassware, and organized workspaces throughout service Guest interaction: Warm greetings, attentive service, and clear communication that make guests feel welcomed and cared for Service flow: Drinks prepared efficiently to maintain smooth lines and consistent event pacing Responsible service: Careful monitoring of alcohol service and adherence to safety and legal requirements ABOUT YOU Friendly, engaging, and service-oriented, with a genuine passion for hospitality. Thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced setting while keeping a calm, professional demeanor. Strong attention to detail with the ability to anticipate guest needs. Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team delivering outstanding experiences. REQUIREMENTS Previous bartending experience required; banquet or high-volume service experience preferred. Must be at least 21 years of age and able to provide/obtain alcohol service certification (e.g., TIPS). Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as moving cases, kegs, and bar equipment. Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods of time. Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays required. Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor.
