Description Position Summary: The Banquet Bartender is responsible for setting up, preparing, and serving beverages to guests at banquet events in a courteous and efficient manner. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Set up and break down the bar area according to banquet event orders (BEOs). Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner. Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly. Maintain knowledge of menu items and beverage offerings, including specialty cocktails. Monitor guest alcohol consumption and comply with legal and company guidelines. Handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain accurate tabs when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area throughout the event. Restock supplies and assist in inventory control. Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with banquet servers, kitchen staff, and event coordinators. Provide excellent customer service to enhance the guest experience. Requirements Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1 year of bartending experience, preferably in banquet or event settings. Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol) preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Knowledge of state and local alcohol laws and regulations. Work Environment: Fast-paced, team-oriented event environment. May be exposed to loud music and crowded areas. Work may take place indoors and occasionally outdoors.
