Job Duties:
Possess a wide range of drink recipes and be able to mix drinks accurately, quickly, and without waste.
Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other beverages.
Serve drinks and food to bar guests.
Observe guests to respond to their needs and ensure total guest satisfaction by serving all items in a friendly and timely manner.
Follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication of guests and handling an intoxicated guest.
Participate in and pass alcohol awareness and safety training classes.
Stock and prepare garnishes for drinks.
Maintain an adequate supply of ice, glasses, and other bar supplies.
Responsible for ordering and maintaining an inventory of liquor, mixes, and other bar supplies.
Collect payment and operate P.O.S. computer quickly and efficiently.
Balance and secure all moneys at the end of shift.
Must be dressed neatly and well groomed in clean, Company approved uniform at all times.
Must be able to operate P.O.S. computer, make change correctly, and make credit card transactions.
Strength demands:
Medium work.
Regular lifting, moving and carrying of food items, furniture, garbage etc. weighing up to 30 pounds across the restaurant
Regular and prolonged standing and walking inside and outside the restaurant during a 6-8 hour shift with appropriate breaks
Regular ascending/descending stairs
Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
Frequent use of hand to finger motions, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms
Skills Required:
Bartending - Advanced
Serving - Novice
Behaviors Required:
Excellent communication skills
Must be able to clearly and effectively communicate English.
Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well
Enthusiastic: Shows intense and eager enjoyment and interest
Team Player: Works well as a member of a group
Must be available Weekends & Holiday Season
Education Preferred:
High School or better.
Experience Required:
Must be able to pass bar training and validation process.
2 years: Bartending or similar role
Licenses & Certifications Required:
Food Handler Certificate
RBS Certified
