Catering Manager Great Western Dining Service, Inc at Murray State College is seeking and experienced Banquet Captain. The Banquet Captain is expected to schedule, process, prepare and deliver orders to the client. Provide prompt courteous service that exceeds the customers expectations. Responsibilities: Assist in preparing food items for caterings as needed Providing excellent customer service by following up with customers after an order has been complete. Work with staff to ensure high quality food and service is provided. Set up and break down catering events. Promptly follows up on all customer calls and requests in an efficient and expedient manner. Works closely with college staff to uncover and pursue additional business. Utilizes Outlook Calendar as well as other online resources to maximize organization, game plan and follow up. Serve as main point of contact during events Complies with all safety and sanitation policies Other duties as assigned Skills and Qualifications: Clean professional appearance and demeanor Excellent organization, customer service and time management skills Works well under pressure Proven track record of catering success Maintain positive upbeat attitude Ability to work flexible schedule Maintain a valid drivers license We are an equal opportunity employer and welcome applications from all qualified individuals.
