What You’ll Do Oversee setup, service, and breakdown of banquet events to ensure all details align with the client specifications and company standards Review event orders and prepare banquet spaces at least 30 minutes prior to start Manage A/V setup and coordinate with sales for additional needs Guide and delegate tasks to banquet staff, ensuring high service standards Serve as main client contact during events, resolving issues professionally Train new staff on service, etiquette, and safety Lead by example with a positive attitude and commitment to excellence Support team members to ensure workloads are balanced and service is seamless Ensure cleanliness, organization, and security of banquet areas Accurately process banquet checks and assist with reporting Communicate effectively with kitchen and other departments Report maintenance issues promptly Perform other duties as assigned All other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong leadership and customer service skills with the ability to inspire team members Excellent communication and organizational abilities Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and email systems preferred Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure Familiarity with A/V equipment Education & Experience High School diploma or GED required Minimum of 2 years in catering or banquet experience Licenses & Certifications Food Handlers Card required TIPS or state equivalent alcohol awareness training required Additional Information Consistent attendance and adherence to Resolute Road Hospitality’s standards are critical to success in this role.
