JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Banquet Captain to oversee and manage banquet events at our venue. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for exceptional service, and a keen eye for detail. As the Banquet Captain, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the banquet service run smoothly, from food management to guest satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in catering or food service management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of food production processes and kitchen operations.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Experience in bartending is a plus, with knowledge of beverage service protocols.
  • Exceptional communication skills to interact with guests, staff, and vendors professionally.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
  • A passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for working closely with the catering department and any banquet supervisor to ensure all banquets and functions are set up and serviced in accordance with the prospectus guidelines
  • Lead and supervise banquet staff during events to ensure high-quality service.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen team to manage food production and presentation.
  • Oversee the setup and breakdown of banquet rooms, ensuring all equipment is in place and functioning.
  • Manage catering operations, including menu planning and execution.
  • Provide training and support for new staff members through effective interviewing and onboarding processes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all food service areas.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during events.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food service management.
  • Preforms any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by management or the Board of Directors of the Club
