JOB OVERVIEW: Provides high-level administrative and coordination support to the Director of Banquets to ensure seamless planning, communication, and execution of all banquet and event operations.   DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Welcome and assist guests upon arrival, offering clear information regarding event schedules, seating arrangements and venue layout.  * Ensure contracts, BEOs, and client files are accurate and complete. * Ensure all Banquets signage is created and displayed according to offerings and BEO specifications. * May coordinate outside vendor services needs where appropriate (ordering or renting supplies, contract labor providers).  * Assist with staff scheduling, attendance tracking, and timecards. * Maintain event calendars, function books, and master schedules. * Assist with inventory records for banquet supplies and equipment. * Serve as a point of contact between the Director of Banquets and internal departments. * Maintain a calm, organized presence during high‑volume events and time‑sensitive situations. * Provide support to VIP guests and accommodate dietary, accessibility, and cultural requirements. * Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns promptly to maintain exceptional service standards. * Respond to guest inquiries and special requests with professionalism and efficiency. * Work closely with banquet staff, servers, captains, and event managers to ensure seamless event execution. * Identify and assist in planning for the purchasing of supplies, equipment, facilities and services necessary to maintain an efficient office. * May coordinate outside vendor services needs where appropriate (ordering or renting supplies, contract labor providers).  * Perform other duties as assigned.   QUALIFICATIONS: * High school diploma or GED required, associate or bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred * 1–3 years of administrative experience (hospitality or event environment strongly preferred) * Experience supporting a Director of Banquets, Catering, or Sales team is a plus The hourly rate for this role is $21.00.  We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time-off, wellness and sick time, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k plan, complimentary parking, employee cafeteria meals, and many other benefits to eligible colleagues.
