OVERVIEW:

We are seeking passionate and skilled Banquet Cooks to join our culinary team. This is a part-time position with the opportunity for full-time hours during our busy banquet season from November through January.

We are currently hiring Banquet Cooks at multiple levels:

  • Cook 3 (Entry-Level)
  • Cook 2 (Intermediate)
  • Cook 1 (Advanced)

Placement will be based on your experience and skill level, with opportunities to grow within the team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous cooking experience (banquet or high-volume preferred)
  • Current Food Safe Certificate is required or willing to obtain it within the first 30 days.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Passion for the culinary industry and strong work ethic
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the team
  • Availability for various shifts (mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays)
  • Reliable transportation is essential (late-night shifts—no hitchhiking!)
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook banquet menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Assist with food preparation for large-scale events, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation in compliance with food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient service.
  • Support kitchen operations including setup, breakdown, and inventory management.
