Description Position Summary: The Banquet Prep Cook is responsible for preparing, organizing, and setting up all kitchen workstations to ensure smooth banquet operations. This role requires efficiency, consistency, and attention to detail to support both banquet service and the Talbot Grill. Essential Duties: Prepare and maintain all food items for banquets and Talbot Grill Preparation and plate up of food items from station Assist Banquet Sous Chef Practice national and state safety/sanitation requirements Practice cleanliness and organization on the station Rotates stock Prepare food in a timely and efficient manner Maintain order and control in walk-in coolers, and dry storage Ability to read and follow menus, recipes, and compute basic mathematical calculations Assist in other outlets as directed. Requirements Education Minimum of two years related cooking experience Culinary school preferred Food Handler / ServSafe Certification Other Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand for extended periods of time Flexible schedule Ability to communicate effectively in English
