JOB SUMMARY

The Banquet Manager, with assistance from the Clubhouse Manager and General Manager, is responsible for overseeing all aspects of banquet operations, ensuring exceptional service and a memorable experience for guests. They will also assist with a al carte dining. This role involves managing staff, coordinating events, and maintaining high standards of food quality and service. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in food service management, and a passion for hospitality.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or hospitality management, preferably in a banquet setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety practices.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Northstar POS or Jonas POS for efficient transaction processing.
  • Experience in inventory control and budgeting within the food industry.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to train and develop staff effectively while fostering a positive team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Previous experience in fine dining or casual dining environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of catering operations and bar management is a plus.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
