Description Normandy Farm Hotel and Blue Bell Country Club are seeking qualified individuals who are interested in working in an upscale hospitality environment. An exemplary work ethic, meticulous attention to detail and a passion for providing superior customer service are necessary for all applicants. Applicants with experience working for first-class hospitality organizations will be strongly considered. *Must be available to work a minimum of 16 hours on nights and weekends - This is a part-time year-round position Job Functions: The Banquet Food Runner/Set Up is responsible for running trays of food to and from the kitchen as well as complete setup and breakdown of all events. This will include but is not limited to tables, chairs, portable bars, umbrellas, tents, buffet equipment, linens, etc. Maintain buffet and food stations, running trays of food to and from the kitchen, assisting servers by removing full trays of used plates/flatware/glassware to the kitchen dish washing area. Able to follow banquet event orders and room floorplan/diagrams. Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of any banquet rooms, hallways, storage, and service areas. Returning equipment to its proper location, clean and in good working order. Notifying supervisor of any issues with any equipment that needs to be repaired and/or replaced. Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of banquet inventory, and supplies such as linens, chairs, dishes, glassware, flatware, and decorations. Set up, stock, and maintain work areas, storage areas and public space. Assist other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests and members alike. Communicate and work closely with Banquet Captain, and Management to ensure a high level of service and seamless event operations. Perform all other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor/manager. Requirements Must be at least 18 years old Previous experience working banquets is a plus Possess a basic knowledge of excellent service standards, guest relations, food and beverage preparations as well as etiquette. Available to work weekends, evening shifts and major holidays (Easter, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, along with other special events from time to time) Mandatory compliance with all safety regulations, procedures, policies, and rules Regular and predictable attendance. Always arrives punctually in full uniform with a neat & professional appearance Frequently Wash Hands for proper food handling Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, carrying, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Able to lift to 25 pounds without assistance and more than 50 pounds with assistance'
