Job Description We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Banquet Manager to join our team in Mumbai, India. As a Banquet Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of banquet operations, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and creating memorable experiences for our guests. Supervise and coordinate all banquet events, including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings Manage and train banquet staff, ensuring adherence to service standards and company policies Collaborate with clients, sales team, and kitchen staff to plan and execute successful events Oversee the setup and breakdown of function rooms, ensuring attention to detail and timely completion Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and service throughout events Manage inventory, equipment, and supplies for the banquet department Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and resolve any issues promptly and professionally Prepare and manage department schedules, payroll, and budgets Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment Conduct regular team meetings and performance evaluations to foster a positive work culture Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in hotel banquet operations or related field High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred Proven supervisory experience in a banquet or food service setting Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities Proficiency in banquet management software and basic computer applications Analytical mindset with the ability to make quick, sound decisions under pressure Solid understanding of food and beverage service standards and current industry trends Experience in event planning and execution Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices; ServSafe certification preferred Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Physical capability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds Basic financial acumen and arithmetic skills for budgeting and inventory management Job-Category: Food & Beverage Job Type: Permanent Job Schedule: Full-Time
