POSITION SUMMARY:

As our Banquet Manager, you will elevate every event through meticulous planning, unwavering attention to detail, and a genuine passion for hospitality. Your leadership will set the tone for memorable celebrations—whether intimate gatherings or grand galas—ensuring each guest departs with an extraordinary experience.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of banquet operations, from initial inquiry to event execution and post-event review
  • Collaborate with clients to customize menus, room setups, and service to match their vision and expectations
  • Lead, train, and inspire a dynamic team of servers, bartenders, and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism
  • Supervise event setup, service, and breakdown, ensuring flawless timing and seamless transitions
  • Manage event logistics, including staffing, inventory, and equipment, to maintain the highest standards of quality and efficiency
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during events, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction
  • Monitor compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Collaborate with culinary and sales teams to maximize revenue and guest satisfaction

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory or management experience in banquet, catering, or hospitality settings
  • Demonstrated success in organizing and executing events of varying scale and complexity
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to guest service
  • Flexible schedule with availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Passion for creating memorable moments and exceeding guest expectations

LICENSING OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

For positions that require special certification; the appropriate level of certification will be maintained. This position requires AGLC Registration and must maintain a valid AGLC License.
