Job Description Plan, coordinate, and execute banquet events, including weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings Conduct departmental daily briefings to ensure that all pertinent information is well received by team members. Manage and lead the banquet team, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and guest satisfaction Create and manage budgets for banquet operations, controlling costs while maintaining quality standards Collaborate with Sales and Catering teams to ensure seamless event execution Oversee food and beverage service, ensuring compliance with quality standards and health regulations Handle customer inquiries, special requests, and resolve issues promptly and professionally Maintain inventory of banquet equipment, linens, and supplies Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation regulations Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative ideas to enhance banquet offering Qualifications Knowledge and Experience Diploma in Hospitality Management/Food & Beverage preferred Additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage will be an advantage Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint Competencies Strong leadership, interpersonal and training skills Good communication and customer contact skills Service oriented with an eye for details Ability to work well in high-pressure situations A team player & builder A motivator & self-starter Well-presented and professionally groomed at all times
