In this role, you will lead banquet operations across corporate meetings, weddings, and large social events while ensuring service, staffing, and execution stay on track. Our client is looking for someone with banquet leadership experience, strong event operations knowledge, and the ability to manage staff, budgets, and client needs. To be successful in the role, you must communicate clearly, stay organized under pressure, and lead by example. This is a great opportunity to oversee high-visibility events in a role with direct impact on guest experience and profitability. Banquet Operations Leader Responsibilities • Lead planning and execution for meetings, weddings, and social events • Oversee event setup, service flow, breakdown, and post-event follow-up • Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor banquet and events staff and managers • Partner with clients to confirm details, special requests, and expectations • Resolve service issues during events with urgency and professionalism • Manage banquet budgets, labor costs, and inventory usage • Review BEOs with service and culinary teams before each event • Coordinate room setups and food service timing across teams • Enforce health, safety, sanitation, and compliance standards • Monitor event quality to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction Banquet Operations Leader Qualifications • 5+ years of banquet and event operations (setup, service, and beverage) experience required • 5+ years of team leadership and staff scheduling in banquet operations experience required • Experience with weddings, corporate groups, and outdoor events required • Budget, labor cost, and inventory management experience required
