QUALIFICATIONS
· High School diploma or GED preferred
· Previous experience preferred
· Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand and lift heavy objects as needed
· Excellent communications skills, verbal and written
· Helpful attitude and friendly demeanor
· Ability to work as part of a team and also be a self-starter
· Able to work days, including early mornings, late nights, evenings, weekends and holidays

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Ability to read and interpret Banquet Event Orders, handle multiple tasks at once while maintain a friendly outgoing personality.
· Report for work punctually, wearing the correct uniform and name badge at all times.
· Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
· Provide courteous and professional service at all times.
· Placing meeting condiments on tables (pads, pens, water) and all place settings for banquet events
· Setting up of beverage stations and buffets with proper linen and utensils. Breakdown of those stations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Sets up banquet room as instructed by supervisor, including linen, service-ware, and glassware
· Ensures a proper supply of clean dishware, utensils, and glassware to stock the dining areas and set tables
· Removes dishes as guests complete each course and/or at the end of the meal or function
· Follows safety and sanitation rules and practices
· Cleans work areas and all equipment used in food preparation
· Serves food and/or beverages is required area
