JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Banquet Servers to join our team. As a Banquet Server, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional guest experiences during events and functions. Your primary responsibilities will include serving food and beverages, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for the food industry and a commitment to providing outstanding guest services.

EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with catering services is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
• Excellent guest service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests quickly.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective guest interactions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. continuously.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of guest service.

• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings and decorations.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Assist with the bussing of tables, ensuring cleanliness and organization throughout the event.
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and adherence to food safety standards.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests effectively.
• Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations at all times.
• Assist in the breakdown of events by cleaning up dining areas and returning equipment to storage.
