JOB DUTIES • Arrive at scheduled start time in appropriate uniform and ready for work. • Assist with setting banquet tables to meet function specifications. • Deliver and serve food and beverages, including plated meals condiments and accompaniments. • Be familiar with menu offerings in order to accurately provide information related to its ingredients and preparations. • Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service and respond to all requests in a friendly, timely and efficient manner. • Remove china, glassware, silverware, etc. from tables at the conclusion of the meal period and deliver to the stewarding area. • Assist team members when needed to accomplish all assigned tasks each day and maintain positive working relationships. • Assist with side work including cleaning, replenishing condiments and restocking banquet shelves with supplies. • Watch for safety hazards and report them immediately to your Supervisor/Manager. • Maintain control of keys issued and return them at the end of each shift. • Attend all mandatory Department and Hotel meetings. • Complete all required training within timeframe allotted. • Act in accordance with fire, health and safety regulations and follow the correct procedures as required. • Perform other duties as directed, developed or assigned. • Support environmental commitments by acquiring the knowledge, skills and values to be a leader in the global goal of “greening” the hospitality industry.
