Josie Wyatt’s Grille is hiring Banquet Servers. Josie Wyatt’s is a steakhouse that opened in in Moab’s first resort style hotel – Hoodoo Moab a Curio Collection by Hilton. The hotel features 5 meeting rooms totaling about 4,500 sq ft of event space, where we provide exceptional meals and service for corporate meetings, company parties, weddings and many other types of events.
We are looking for employees who have a passion for outstanding food and exceptional service, attention to detail, care for the community and customers, and have a teamwork mentality.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work quickly, problem solve, and think on your feet while maintaining poise in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude - personable, kind, and customer service oriented
  • Strong sense of ownership
  • Willingness to learn and improve skills
  • Effective communication, time management, and prioritization skills

Responsibilities
  • Warmly and enthusiastically greeting guests, maintaining a positive attitude and demeanor toward patrons and fellow employees
  • Guiding guests through the dining experience
  • Diligently and effectively managing the flow of service
  • Providing menu recommendations, knowledgably answering questions, taking guest orders and accommodating for special needs or requests
  • Correctly inputting orders into the POS computer system
  • Serving food and beverage to the guests in an accurate, timely and synchronized manner in accordance with proper food handling requirements
  • Anticipating guest needs and addressing them
  • Ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience
  • Correctly finalizing the guest check and collecting payment
  • Communicating clearly with guests and coworkers
  • Motivating guests to return to Josie Wyatt’s in the future
  • Maintaining clean, sanitary and well-stocked service stations
  • Completing opening duties, side work and closing duties
  • Performing duties as assigned by manager
