Description Job Title: Banquet Server Department: Food & Beverage / Events Reports To: Banquet Manager Job Type: Part-time / Full-time / On-call Position Summary: We are seeking reliable, customer-focused Banquet Servers to join our events team. As a banquet server, you will play a key role in delivering a memorable guest experience at weddings, corporate events, galas, and private parties. You’ll be responsible for setting up event spaces, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the event. Key Responsibilities: Set up banquet rooms and tables according to event specifications (linens, silverware, centerpieces, etc.) Greet guests warmly and respond to their needs promptly and professionally Serve plated meals and beverages or manage buffet lines, depending on event type Clear plates, glassware, and other service items throughout the event Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and banquet captains regarding guest needs Assist with event breakdown and reset for future events Follow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service guidelines Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints in a courteous manner Requirements Qualifications: Previous banquet, catering, or restaurant experience preferred, but not required Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to lift trays of food, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and carry trays with multiple plates or glasses Prolonged standing, walking, and bending throughout the shift Ability to work indoors and occasionally outdoors depending on the venue Preferred Qualifications (Optional): Food Handler's Permit or Alcohol Server Certification (varies by location)
