Description Normandy Farm Hotel and Blue Bell Country Club are seeking qualified individuals who are interested in working in an upscale hospitality environment. An exemplary work ethic, meticulous attention to detail and a passion for providing superior customer service are necessary for all applicants. Applicants with experience working for first-class hospitality organizations will be strongly considered. A Banquet Server delivers food and beverages to guests at large events, parties, and weddings ensuring timely delivery while providing excellent customer service. This is part-time permanent position. We are looking for applicants with previous experience in hospitality to work weekends 10 -15 hours per week. Must have availability to be scheduled to work Friday, Saturday and Sunday AM & PM shifts. Hourly rate starts at $18.00 Per hour This position requires completion of the Responsible Alcohol Management Program (RAMP) for certification. If you're not yet certified, no problem - you'll receive a voucher to complete the course after 90 days of employment. Banquet Server Functions: Attends and Participates in all training sessions and team meetings. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others while listening and responding in an appropriate manner. Prepares for an upcoming event to include gathering supplies and proper set-up. Greet guests with a warm smile to make them feel welcome. Butler Hors d'oeuvres as needed while being polite, friendly, and helpful to guests. General clean-up (bussing of plates and glassware) Confirm orders accordingly to your assigned section and tables. Replenish drinks and wine along with providing coffee services in a timely manner. Always maintain clean tables efficiently. General Clean-up and breakdown at the events conclusion Reset the banquet room as required and instructed. Cater to the guests’ requests and needs in a prompt and professional manner to ensure an overall superior level of customer service. Follow instructions and adhere to all procedures and company policies while maintaining a high standard of conduct. Notifies and reports any problems or concerns to management. Reports to the Banquet Captain Requirements Must be at least 18 years old. High School Diploma or Equivalent Previous experience working in a hospitality setting is a plus Must be RAMP certified or willing to obtain RAMP certification for employment Possess a basic knowledge of excellent service standards, guest relations, food, and beverage preparations as well as etiquette. Available to work major holidays (Easter, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, along with other special events from time to time) Abide by all Laws and company policies that regulate serving alcoholic beverages. Mandatory compliance with all safety regulations, procedures, policies, and rules Regular and predictable attendance. Always arrives punctually in full uniform with a neat & professional appearance. Frequently Wash Hands for proper food handling Must be authorized to work in the United States Ability to provide top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.
