Banquet Server

Duties:

  • Setting up and tearing down banquet functions/conference rooms
  • Providing internal and external guests with exceptional customer service such as room showings and answering general questions
  • Provide service for the following types of events: plated and buffets, working lunches, coffee breaks and banquet bartending, as required
  • Ensures that function rooms are set up as per the details requested on banquet contract and aids the F&B Manager in assuring the smooth operation of the function(s)
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the banquet area
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
  • Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to details
  • Team oriented with an equal ability to work well independently
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Previous experience as a bartender in a banquet setting is an asset
  • Must have Serving It Right Certification
