JOB SUMMARY:

A Banquet Server is responsible for the set up and the service of all assigned banquet functions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience as a banquet server or in a similar hospitality role
• Strong knowledge of banquet and event service procedures
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment

• Set up banquet and event spaces according to the provided floor plans and specifications
• Ensure all tables, chairs, linens, and other event equipment are arranged correctly
• Greet and assist guests upon arrival, providing information about the event and venue facilities
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner
• Monitor and replenish food and beverage stations to ensure a continuous and high-quality service
• Collaborate with the kitchen and catering staff to coordinate timing of food service
• Clear tables and clean up after events, ensuring a neat and organized event space
• Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally
• Work closely with the event coordinator to ensure seamless execution of events
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties
• Maintain a positive and customer-focused attitude throughout the event
• Assist with event breakdown and cleanup after the conclusion of the event
• Attend pre-event meetings and trainings as required
• Follow proper uniform and grooming standards for a polished and professional appearance
• Stay informed about menu items and special dietary requests to accurately communicate information to guests.
