Job Description Summary Job Summary We are looking for a dedicated Banquet Server to join our events team. This is a rare opportunity to join a stable department responsible for executing a variety of high-end functions, ranging from corporate meetings to social events. You will be responsible for the complete cycle of event service, ensuring every guest receives attentive and professional hospitality. Job Description Key Responsibilities Service Standards: Execute meal service (plated, buffet, or reception style) according to established standards and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs). Setup & Breakdown: Assist with the physical setup of event spaces, including linens, glassware, silverware, and table decor; efficiently clear and break down rooms post-event. Side Work: Perform essential tasks such as polishing silverware, folding napkins, and organizing service equipment. Guest Interaction: Anticipate guest needs throughout events, responding promptly and professionally to requests or dietary requirements. Safety & Sanitation: Maintain a clean and organized workspace and follow all food safety protocols. Additional Job Information/Anticipated Pay Range Experience: Proven experience in banquet or upscale restaurant service. Technical Skills: Ability to carry large service trays and handle delicate service pieces with care. Professionalism: A high standard of grooming and a calm, professional demeanor under pressure. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 lbs throughout the duration of a shift. Availability: Must be available for a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Additional Information: Seniority-Based Scheduling: This is a union-environment position where shift opportunities are offered and scheduled based on departmental seniority. Status: This role is primarily on-call/part-time, with hours fluctuating based on the event calendar.
