Description
The Hilton Garden Inn Gallup is looking to add a Banquet Server to its Food & Beverage team. Work in a fun atmosphere and learn more about the hospitality industry. This is a great entry-level position to embark on a hotel or food and beverage career.  This position is responsible for achieving an maintaining customer service and product quality standards during banquet functions. As a representative of the hotel, it is essential to serve food and provide service in accordance with Hilton standards. Major Duties: Serve food courses to guests. Set tables according to type of event and service standards. Communicate special requests, recook orders and allergies to the kitchen to ensure accuracy of orders, Follow the Banquet Event Orders to execute meal services, set up food and drinks for breaks, and coffee stations Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with meal services and throughout the event Clear plates and drinks after meal service is completed.  Communicate with culinary team to provide meal service Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day. Physical Requirements: Read write and visually verify information to accurately follow directions Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and objects in excess of 50 pounds with assistance. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Responsibilities
